Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Business Analyst Intern to join our Product & Technology team. This is a hands-on learning opportunity to work alongside Product Owners and Business Analysts, gaining real exposure to requirements gathering, process mapping, and data-driven decision-making within an agile software development environment.
Key Responsibilities
● Assist in gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements from stakeholders.
● Support the creation of user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flow diagrams.
● Help maintain and organize the product backlog in Jira under the guidance of the Product Owner.
● Contribute to documentation in Confluence, keeping process notes and meeting minutes up to date.
● Participate in Sprint Planning, Refinement, Daily Stand-ups, and Sprint Reviews.
● Conduct basic data analysis to support product and process improvement recommendations.
● Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate delivered features against requirements.
● Prepare simple reports and presentations summarizing findings for internal stakeholders.
Requirements
Education
● Currently completed a bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field.
Experience
● No formal work experience required; coursework, academic projects, or prior internships related to business analysis are a plus.
Skills & Competencies
● Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
● Good written and verbal communication skills.
● Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
● Familiarity with Jira and/or Confluence is an advantage, but not mandatory.
● Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple small tasks simultaneously.
● Eagerness to learn Agile/Scrum practices in a real-world setting.
Nice-to-Have
● Exposure to SQL, Power BI, or basic data visualization tools.
● Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) basics.
● Prior participation in case competitions, hackathons, or student consulting projects.
