Job Title: QA Engineer ( Manual & Automation )

Schedule Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM; Saturday (half-day)

About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Frontend Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You’ll be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing web and mobile applications using React, Next.js, and React Native. The ideal candidate writes clean, efficient code, pays close attention to detail, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

​

• Test web and mobile applications across different devices and platforms.

• Create and run test plans, test cases, and regression suites.

• Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to understand requirements and spot potential issues early.

• Report bugs with clear steps and help the team reproduce and fix them.

• Check UI behaviour, performance, and user flows to ensure smooth experiences.

• Help maintain a clean testing environment and track progress against release deadlines.

• Take part in release testing, smoke testing, and feature validation.

• Suggest improvements to the QA process and help raise the overall quality of the product.

Requirements

​

• 2+ years of experience in software testing or QA.

• Strong understanding of manual testing for web and mobile apps.

• Ability to write clear test cases, scenarios, and bug reports.

• Experience testing React or React Native application.

• Experience using emulators/simulators and real devices for comprehensive testing.

• Ability to test mobile-specific features like push notifications, deep links, offline behavior, permissions, background/foreground states, and app lifecycle events.

• Experience validating network conditions (offline, slow network, airplane mode).

• Understanding of mobile UI/UX guidelines (Material Design, Interface Guidelines).

• Knowledge of device fragmentation and ability to test across multiple screen sizes, OS versions, and hardware types.

• Familiarity with API testing using tools such as Postman.

• Basic knowledge of Git and common development workflows.

• Understanding of responsive design and cross-platform behaviour.

• Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.

• Good communication skills .

Nice to Have

​

• Experience with automated testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Detox, or Jest.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and how tests fit into deployment workflows.

• Understanding of performance testing or load testing.

• Exposure to testing accessibility standards.

• Experience working in agile environments or with ticketing tools such as Jira.
